1996

The launch of Allevia

The parent brand of Allevia was first made available as a prescription medication for seasonal allergic rhinitis (hayfever) in 1996.

2022

Allevia^{^®} is reclassified from prescription to over the counter

In 2022, the MHRA granted the license to make Allevia available over the counter in the UK. Today, this trusted allergy solution is available in over 100 countries worldwide, with many offering it as an OTC option under a range of brand names.

2023

Allevia gets OTC approval for a broader range of allergies including other airborne allergens such as pet dander, dust mite & mould allergies.
